Thank you for being such a wonderful supporter of events at CMA! As a token of appreciation, we are pleased to invite you to an exclusive gathering of CMA’s Artistic Director’s Circle at the home of Dr. James Cottrell and Mr. Joseph Lovett. The Cottrell-Lovett Collection emphasizes the importance of building a deeper understanding of the artists’ work by first cultivating relationships with the artists themselves, allowing the collection to grow as the artists develop their own working philosophy. Jim Cottrell and Joe Lovett have been collecting art for more than forty years and have amassed a collection numbering more than 600 objects.

The Artistic Director’s Circle is a group of art lovers whose annual membership provides entry to exclusive events and VIP art fair passes, providing a unique opportunity to delve into the New York art world with CMA’s Curator and Artistic Director alongside fellow art enthusiasts.
